RETIREMENT PLAN SERVICES DIRECTOR

Tami learned early on the importance of being detail-oriented. She began working at an ice cream parlor at the age of 14 and the owners were adamant about counting back change correctly: coins first, then the dollar bills.

Tami brings that same discerning eye to everything she touches and is a valued member of our Leadership Team. As Retirement Plan Services Director at Trust Company of Illinois, her responsibilities include leading the plan administration team, serving as ERISA guidelines implementer, and helping ensure that quality production levels and regulatory deadlines are met or exceeded. “I love doing work that helps to create a wonderful client experience,” she says.

Tami began her career as a trust accountant at HPL&S in Arlington Heights, IL, and went on to RSM McGladrey Retirement Resources where she served for ten years as Director of Operations in their Chicago office. She holds a BS in Accounting from Bradley University and has earned Certified Pension Consultant (CPC^™), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA^™), and Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA^®) designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors.

Tami served on the board of Family Shelter Service for six years and volunteered at the DuPage County Courthouse and on their hotline. Her time away from the office will find her engrossed in a good read, playing volleyball or golfing.
