Evan Serwinksi
Throughout his career, Evan has been up for challenging himself. His first investment industry experience came by uprooting his life in the Chicago suburbs and working for Charles Schwab & Co. in Denver, Colorado. There he gained a wealth of knowledge and invaluable experience in the areas of equity trading, fixed income trading, risk management, and optimizing service for financial advisors.
Evan brought his skill set back to the Chicagoland area in his role as Wealth Specialist at HT|TC Wealth Partners. He says that getting the chance to help clients during the most impactful times of their life is why he enjoys the position. “I find that I spend more time talking to clients about their feelings than their specific investments,” he says. “And I’m happy to be their financial therapist.”
Evan personally understands that for many mid-career professionals, life can feel like a balancing act. His grounded, human-centered approach to financial planning helps individuals and families make sense of their options and move forward with a greater sense of preparation, ease, and clarity.
He earned a Bachelor of Science at Northern Illinois University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Prior to his time at Schwab, Evan was a personal banking officer at Schaumburg Bank and Trust.
Outside of the office, Evan enjoys making art with his two daughters, going to the movies and renovating the house however his wife wants.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the CFP® certification mark, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification mark, and the CFP® certification mark (with plaque design) logo in the United States, which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
